Late Pandit Shrikant Mishra(1952~2012) born in Banaras, is highly acclaimed name in the world of Dhrupad and Pakhawaj . Pandit Shrikant Mishra started studying pakhawaj from the age of 15 with the great master Late Pandit Amarnath Mishra of Varanasi.
Pandit Shrikant Mishra has a great privilege of accompanying all the Dhrupad maestros of our time from Dagar Gharana and Darbhanga style including late Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar, late Ustad Nasir Aaminuddin Dagar, late Pandit Ramchatur Mallik and late Pandit Siyaram Tiwari.
Known for his great sensibility to music and for the sonorous sound and tuning of his Pakhawaj,Pandit Shrikant Mishra has participated in many important indian and international music festivals. He has been to Japan, Germany, France, Switzerland, Holland, England and many other countries. Pandit Shrikant Mishra is regarded not only as a perfect accompanist but also as a solo player too.
Aditya has been performing on a number of prestigious music platforms held across India and abroad. To name a few – Tansen Samaroh Gwalior, Dhrupad Mela Varanasi, Shreemath Sangeet Samaroh – Varanasi, Radharaman annual music festival (Radharaman Temple) Vrindaban, Dhrupad Mahotsav BHU, Tribhuvan University music festival – Nepal.
He has many accompaniment CDs for his credit and has worked for documentary films on Dhrupad. He completed his Sangeet Prabhakar in Tabla and Pakhawaj from PSS, Allahabad and has a Masters Degree in music from BHU. He conducts classes and workshops of Pakhawaj for many students in India & Abroad.

Aditya Dip is an accomplished Pakhawaj player from Varanasi. He received rigorous training under the able guidance of the Pakhawaj maestro Pt. Shrikant Mishra for many years. He has been performing with the eminent Dhrupad artists Pt. Ritwik Sanyal, Gundecha Brothers, Pt. Premkumar Mallik, Pt. Pushparaj Koshti, Ustad Bahauddin Dagar, Pt.Uday Bhawalkar and many others all over the country. Aditya has excellency in accompaniment and has equal proficiency in solo performance of Pakhawaj.
